Recipe for mud explores the messy & organic parts of being human. Thoughts, feelings, mess, play, mud.
It’s encouragement when your hands are dirty,
when all you want to do is wash away.
Instead ...
Lean into the mud pie that is your life.
Collect flowers with clay-covered wrists,
smoosh them in.
Wipe away tears with soil under nails &
throw rocks at trees.
Show your loved ones your creation,
show them the process too.
After they leave,
stand back alone & admire the impermanence of your presence,
the beauty of nature,
the beauty of you in nature,
as nature.
